We’re on a little bit of a staycation this week, so not much cooking, but still a lot of eating! Chicken sando with mac salad from Fuku (David Chang’s fast-casual chicken joint), and taro slushie unicorn float and chocolate ice cream from Taiyaki NYC, both in the Seaport.

Pasta with Chicken, Pea Shoots, and Garlic Scape Pesto (made by my husband — the pesto, not the whole meal). There’s no recipe for the whole thing, I just cooked the chicken and the pasta separately, mixed the pesto with some cream, some Parmigiano-Reggiano, and some pasta water, for a sauce, then tossed it all together with some pea shoots from the farmers market.
